According to unofficial counts, police and armed thugs of the ruling party brutally killed 1,700 students. Mass graves of the slain students are still being discovered in various parts of the country. Amid the protests, 93 people died today in clashes between the public, police, and armed hooligans of the ruling Awami League party.
