A delegation from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has embarked on a journey to China from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at the invitation of the Chinese government. The delegation includes Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Assistant Secretary Generals Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Advocate Moazzem Hossain Helal, Central Executive Committee member and Publicity Secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand, Central Executive Committee member and Dhaka South City Ameer Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul, Central Executive Committee member and Dhaka North City Ameer Md. Selim Uddin, Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Zahidul Islam, and Chief Reporter of Daily Sangram Shamsul Arefin.
Other Islamic leaders joining the visit include Nayeb-e-Ameer of Khilafat Majlis Professor Dr. Ahmad Abdul Kader, Joint Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Maulana Azizul Haque Islamabadi, Ameer of Bangladesh Khilafat Movement Maulana Abu Zafar Qasemi, and Secretary General of Bangladesh Nezame Islam Party Maulana Musa bin Izhar. The delegation will depart on a China Southern Airlines flight at 11:15 PM tonight and is scheduled to return on December 5.
A delegation from Dhaka South City Jamaat was present at the airport to bid farewell to the departing leaders. The farewell team was led by Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, Central Working Committee member and Dhaka South Nayeb-e-Ameer; Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Central Working Committee member and Dhaka South Secretary; Central Majlis-e-Shura member and Dhaka South Assistant Secretary Md. Kamal Hossain; Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mannan; Dhaka South Working Committee member Kamrul Ahsan Hasan; and Dhaka South Assistant Office Secretary Abdus Sattar Suman, among others.
