On Friday, student groups in Bangladesh, currently involved in maintaining law and order, seized an ambulance that was allegedly transporting important government documents under the direction of former Attorney General Amin Uddin. A video published on Facebook by Bangladeshi channel R-TV shows the van packed with documents bearing official seals of the Bangladesh government.

In recent days, amid a noticeable absence of police, students have intercepted several vehicles believed to be transporting valuables such as money and gold. These assets are suspected to belong to Awami League supporters who were allegedly moving their illegally acquired wealth to safer locations.

Upon stopping the ambulance, the students requested the driver to reveal its contents. The driver initially claimed the vehicle was carrying medicine and clothing. However, after persistent questioning, the driver was compelled to open the van, revealing stacks of documents instead of the purported medicine. The students also reported finding bank drafts valued at over 30,000 crores.

The driver stated that he was transporting these documents on the orders of the former attorney general. A photograph of Amin Uddin was also found in the van, suggesting that the documents were being moved as he vacated his office.
