The committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for the Sadar Union branch in Pirgachha, Rangpur, has been formed. On Friday night, the Union Jamaat Ameer Abdur Jabbar announced the committee at the Upazila Jamaat office.

In this committee, Assistant Professor Bhavesh Chandra Barman of Mirzapur Degree College was selected as President, and Bijon Chandra Das, a pharmacy business owner, was chosen as General Secretary.

Additionally, Tapash Chandra Roy, a demonstrator from Devi Chowdhurani Degree College, was elected as Vice-President, Sudharanjan Barman, President of the Kishamat Jhinia Sanatan Sangha, as Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Teacher Prabhash Chandra Barman of Deuti School and College as Finance Secretary.

Before this, a discussion meeting was held with the Hindu community.

The event was hosted by the Union Jamaat’s Organizing Secretary, Hafiz Idris Ali, with the main guest being Rangpur District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Enamul Haque.

Special guests included Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Mostaq Ahmed, Secretary Mostafizur Rahman, Office Secretary Zakir Hossain, Upazila Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council President Bhavesh Chandra Barman, and Union Jamaat Finance Secretary Hossain Ahmed.
