The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has issued an ultimatum to President Md. Shahabuddin to dissolve the current national parliament by 3 PM today, Tuesday, August 6. If this demand is not met, the movement has warned of taking ‘stringent actions.’ The announcement was made by Asif Mahmud, the coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, in a video message on social media platform Facebook.

Earlier, at around 11:30 PM last night, in an address to the nation, the President stated that the current parliament would be dissolved as soon as possible. He also mentioned that an interim government would be formed swiftly.
