One of the movement’s coordinators delivered a live message on Facebook today, emphasizing that although victory has been achieved, sustaining it will be difficult unless all state machinery is purged of pseudo-Awami supporters. In his video message, he stated that over the past 16 years, the Awami League has turned the country into a living hell. People were murdered, abducted, and subjected to enforced disappearances. Many are still missing, and their families are left in uncertainty about whether they are alive or dead. He warned that Awami-sympathetic civil servants and police officers could revert the country to this dire state if they are not brought to justice and removed from their positions.
He urged people to build fortresses in every locality to protect against the miscreants from Chhatra League, Juba League, and other Awami-affiliated terrorist groups.
